Abstrak

Behavior The use of masks is part of a comprehensive series of prevention and control measures that can limit the spread of certain viral respiratory diseases, including Covid-19.

Compliance is a positive behavior shown by the public when wearing a mask. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between public compliance and the behavior of using masks during the Covid-19 pandemic in Jaga I, Toraget Village, North Langowan District, Minahasa Regency.

The type of research used is research using descriptive analytical method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study is the people of Jaga I Village, Toraget with a total of 36 respondents. The data were analyzed using the chi square test with a significance level of 95% = 0.05.

Based on the results of statistical tests using the chi square test, the p value = 0.000 is smaller than the value of = 0.05. It means that Ho is rejected, then there is a relationship between public compliance and the behavior of using masks during the Covid-19 pandemic in Guard I, Toraget Village, North Langowan District, Minahasa Regency.

The conclusion of this study is that Community Compliance in Guard I in Toraget Village is in the category of Disobedience and Behavior of the Use of Masks in Guard I in Toraget Village is in the Bad category. There is a relationship between public compliance and the behavior of using masks during the Covid-19 pandemic in Guard I, Toraget Village, North Langowan District, Minahasa Regency.
