Abstrak

This study aims to find out the answers to: 1) the application of learning using a blended learning model To improve student learning achievement at SMP Negeri 5 Dumoga. 2) supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of learning using blended learning models in English lessons. In this study, the research method used was a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. This study does not carry out manipulations or alterations on free variables, but describes a condition as it is. The depiction of conditions can be individual or group, and uses numbers. The research sampling used the purposive random sampling technique and produced as many as 80 students who were used as research samples. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. As well as data analysis using descriptive analysis. The results of the research conducted resulted in a percentage value of 80,9% which is included in the good category in the application of learning using a blended learning learning model in English lessons which can be a benchmark for students to be able to improve student learning achievement during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP 5 Negeri 5 Dumoga. This is supported by the existence of good supporting factors such as the professional readiness of teachers and students in terms of technology / IT, adequate learning media facilities such as LCD projectors, Wi-fi, laptops and applications used during online learning.
